The Dump Body is an option for municipalities that wish to double the spread distance with the Rear Sidewalk Spreader before returning to refill. The operator spreads material until empty and then refills the rear spreader by hydraulically raising the dump body. The built-in tailgate opens and closes automatically as the attachment is raised and lowered. When the winter season is over, the attachment and its supporting frame can be unbolted and stored until the following winter. A feature is built into the tractor, which prohibits movement of the tractor when it is in the raised position, and a large text warning message appears on the screen to advise the operator.

Options

A 150-gallon stainless steel tank is available to sit inside the dump body. An operator can use the tank to supply water to our watering arm. An operator can also use it in the winter to supply brine to a rear-mounted spray bar.

Specifications

The dump body measures 67” long, 36” wide x 13” high. Side panels are corrugated for additional strength. The material is 14 gauge 44W steel with ¼” thick reinforcements in all critical areas. The tailgate is 10 gauge steel. The lift angle is 42 degrees.
